I loved this place! The breakfast was awesome, our room was large and very comfortable and the staff was so friendly and attentive, while otherwise making us feel like we had the property to ourselves. I loved sitting in the garden by the flowers and reading. It was so quiet, yet an easy walk to Church Street restaurants.

Great place to spend a few days in Burlington. The staff were wonderful. The room was fine — I would have preferred a firmer mattress. The breakfasts were nice. Great location for touring Burlington and the surrounding area.

LOVED our time at blind tiger. The service was fantastic. The breakfast is included and very delicious. The rooms were extremely cozy and the property is just stunning. Very well decorated. A big plus is that there’s free parking on site and it’s a 15-20 min serene walk to downtown. Looking forward to coming back.

This is our second visit to the Blind Tiger in Burlington Vermont. The location is perfect for walking to downtown Church Street and the UVM campus. The staff is very welcoming and available for all your needs. The rooms are clean, comfortable and unique. We will always choose to stay here when we visit Burlington!

Amazing character and such a unique opportunity to stay in a historic mansion. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. You can have breakfast in the solarium and there is a guest bar with espresso, sparkling water, and tea anytime. It was an unforgettable experience.

It’s difficult for a hotel to combine comfort, coziness, and quirkiness and make it all work, yet Blind Tiger achieves that and more. This hotel is a gem, not in a flashy or overly polished way, but in the sense that it genuinely understands how to make guests feel welcome and cared for. Within just a few hours of arriving, I felt completely at home. Its leafy location is nestled among Burlington’s historic Victorian homes, once occupied by the city’s business elite. Today, many of these grand properties are owned by Champlain College and the University of Vermont, whose preservation efforts are evident in the beauty and character of the neighborhood. The hotel is only a short walk from downtown Burlington and because downtown is “down” the hill, you can conveniently walk off a few calories after enjoying Burlington’s eclectic restaurant scene. Breakfast in the dining room is exceptional, Michelin-level exceptional, as the plaques outside the front door proudly attest. There may be no better place to start the day than in the grand solarium, enjoying breakfast while overlooking the beautiful lawn beyond. The quirky décor throughout the hotel naturally brings a smile, while the afternoon aromas of baking drifting through the house serve as a delicious preview of the next morning’s offerings. Guests are never far from complimentary drinks and snacks in the bar room pantry. And fair warning: the chocolate muffins are devilishly good. The rooms are comfortable, unique, and thoughtfully restored, with touches that honor the building’s history. Bathrooms are spotless and stocked with an ample supply of quality towels. My only minor quibble with my room was the lighting setup. There was no convenient way to turn off the lights from bed, requiring a bit of strategy to avoid stubbing a toe on the way back. Otherwise, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, with soft linens and high-quality pillows. My room, Horizon Lines, was especially fortunate to have four windows an
